Is it unfair to charge me €75 cancellation fee for Adobe Acrobat subscription after trial period?
I recently found myself in a frustrating situation with my Adobe Acrobat subscription. I signed up for the trial version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, but I completely forgot to cancel it before the trial ended. Now, I’m stuck with a monthly subscription, and when I tried to cancel, I was told I have to pay a €75 cancellation fee because I was automatically switched to the annual plan.
I am not using Acrobat Reader at all, and I find it really unfair to be charged such a high cancellation fee just for forgetting to cancel the trial. I understand there’s a contract in place, but it feels like a hidden trap for those who forget to cancel.
Has anyone else experienced this situation? Is there any way to cancel my subscription without having to pay these excessive fees? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
