Is the Adobe Acrobat Pro extension for Google Chrome capable of doing anything whatsoever?

I have a fully paid up annual license for Adobe acrobat pro. My understanding was that the extension for Google Chrome would allow me to convert information on most websites into a PDF and then download the PDF. That understanding came from my  consulting  an AI.  the extension is active in Google Chrome but appears to be capable of doing nothing other than offering to convert PDFs into different types of documents or editing PDFs on someone else's website–why would I want to do that?  The directions that I get from   A.I.  tell me that there should be a acrobat logo near the Address bar  or  a puzzle type  icon.  the puzzle type iconShows the extension within it  and has a pin opposite it. Some of the responses from AI  suggest that the pin  or  Acrobat Pro icon  should be moved from the puzzle shape onto the browser. But that is impossible. All I can do is alternate between putting a slash through the pin  within the puzzle shape or remove the /.  on a few occasions something from Acrobat Pro has opened up and offered me the possibilities of converting a PDF into other types of documents, but absolutely no possibility of converting the webpage into a PDF that I can download.

I realized that some sites might not want to be converted into a PDF but I've tried using the extension on many different websites including my very own website that definitely allows downloads of PDFs. I can't find a single use for the extension–at least one that works!

Any suggestions as to how to get some use out of the extension would be appreciated. Many thanks.
