Question

Is there a way to batch preflight for multiple docs at once? Either through Batch or Action Wizard?

I have 35 documents to embed font in and is there an easy way to do them all at once?  I am thinking with the batch feature or the Action Wizard, I could have sworn I figure this out a while ago but not able to replicate the actions.  Thank you in advance, Steph

Yes, using the Action Wizard. Create a new Action and add to it the Preflight command (from the Document Processing panel), and a Save command. Edit the Preflight command by clicking Specify Settings on the right-hand panel and select the profile you want to run. Make sure to untick the "Prompt User" check-box underneath it, and you're all set!

It should look something like this:

In addition to the good information above, once you have your Action, you can apply it to an existing folder of files by clicking where it says "Add Files". Or you can make a droplet where you can drag a folder of files onto a droplet folder, here is a link to a discussion about droplets:

Edit- Actually, I believe droplets were a Photoshop tool, not sure if you can do it in Acrobat.

Unfortunately im finding you can only pick from standard preflight settings in their dropdown and not custom Prelight profiles

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
