Question

Is there a way to bring all background images forward at once?

I'm putting together a PDF with a background image for all of the pages, but all of the text boxes are showing white around the text, as they appear to be an object space. I can Right Click on an individual page-->Arrange-->Bring Forward to solve this, but that's going to be time consuming for a 400 page PDF document.

Is there a way that I can select every background image and bring them all forward at once?

Acrobat is a terrible tool for editing; great as a last resort, but an inconceivably difficult choice to make a 400 page PDF. Use another tool. Almost anything. It's so easy to convert to PDF - that's why PDF was created in the first place. Typical tools would be Word or InDesign.

That is not possible I'm afraid.

Your best bet is to use the print production tool---> Preflight--->>>PDFfixups  and test with different customized profiles.

I've noticed, however, that after the last two updates I don't get the problem that you're describing.

I used to get this issue with certain types of PDFs. As I was trying to gather an answer for you, I went and check on the same file that used to behave like that and it opened fine in my  Acrobat today.

So, if you haven't applied any latest or optional updates yet  do it now and see if the issue is resolved.

If this is still happening with your Acrobat fully updated, then try my first suggestion.
