Is there a way to combine digitally signed documents into one PDF in Adobe Acrobat Standard X?

I have a user who claims she was able to combine multiple digitally signed PDF's in the past. I have looked online and have been unsuccessful in finding any such documentation that states so. Help would be appreciated.

You can also simply add digitally signed PDF files as attachments to a main PDF.

That's pretty much the same as a Portfolio...

It's true that a portfolio PDF includes file attachments just like a normal PDF can. Using a portfolio for something like this is a less general approach and has a number of disadvantages though, so it's not the only way and often not the best way. I can't remember the last time I created a portfolio for anything important, but attach signed PDFs to other PDFs almost daily.

Signed PDF files can only be combined into a Portfolio, not into a single PDF file.
