Is there a way to double click the images from PDF file open as a new tab?

My user said before the Adobe PDF updates, their usual practice of using PDF file is When double clicking images, Adobe Acrobat would open the image in a new tab. However the cursor now goes from arrow head to a cross and double clicking doesn't open the image in a new tab. Instead, it gives the user the option to copy images.

I’ve tested myself and I could not open the images as a new tab by double-clicking it too.

Show Large Images is enabled in Preferences.

Is there any settings to enable this function? Or did it no longer exist anymore after Adobe updates?

Thanks.

    Hi yannis_5500,

    Thank you for reaching out.

The user was able to open an image from a PDF in a new tab in Acrobat. However, this feature has never been available in Acrobat. It's possible that the specific PDF they were using had a unique configuration that allowed this functionality.

For more information on opening PDFs, you may refer to the following help document: Open a PDF in the application.

If you are referring to something else, please share more information.

    Thanks,
