Question

Is there a way to fix one of the signers in a PDF form?

We have 2 persons who always need to sign some defined documents. We are using text tags and these documents have speficic locations where the signature needs to be displayed and we were wondering if it would be possible to fix these 2 signers during the authoring phase (first and last), so users do not need to "type" and/or select them, but they would just need to select who is signing "in between". Someone can help to answer this?

Hi Jana_0824,

Thank you for reaching out and sorry about the delay in response.

If we understand correctly, you are trying to add the signature field so that one of these two signers can sign the document as per the document requirement. If yes, you can add both users as recipient groups in Acrobat Sign so one of the signers can sign. For more information, refer to the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/fedramp/user/recipient-groups.html

You can use the steps suggested in the following help document to enable the feature: https://helpx.adobe.com/sign/kb/enable-recipient-groups-adobe-sign.html.

Let us know if you are referring to a different scenario.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Not sure what you mean, exactly, but you should be using digital signature fields if you want to "fix" the area where the users can sign. Clicking the fields will open the signature properties dialog, where the users will need to select their signature profile, enter a password, and then sign the file.
