Question

Is there a way to have Acrobat DC 23.0 and Adobe Reader 23.0 both installed at the same time

We noticed that when installing Adobe Acrobat DC 23.0, it automatically uninstalls Adobe Reader. Is there a way to install Acrobat without uninstalling Reader? We have people who work in the field who share a computer for emails and timesheets. They each have their own profiles on the computer. While one person may have a need for Acrobat, the rest just need Reader so we would like to keep both installed. We tried to reinstall Reader after installing Acrobat but got a message saying that a more functional product has already been installed. Any help on this would be appreciated,

You could install the 32-bit Acrobat Pro and the Acrobat Reader 64-bit.  That way all users could use it.

Hi @DennisFF2613

Thanks for reaching out.

The 64-bit application is a unified application for Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. The default installation location is C:\Program Files\Adobe\AcrobatIf you have installed Acrobat Reader 64-bit and you purchase an Acrobat subscription, the Acrobat Reader 64-bit application will upgrade to become a fully functional Acrobat 64-bit application.

For more info. please check out the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/about-acrobat-reader-dc-migration-to-64-bit.html
