Is there a way to password protect PDFs using the acrobat reader mobile app?

I've seen instructions for how to do this in the regular version, but can't seem to figure out how to do it on the mobile app.

Hi Emmac,

Apologies for the delay in response.

As suggested by "try67" Adobe Reader can not apply a security policy on the PDF file, only Adobe Acrobat DC can.

No, Reader can't apply a security policy to a PDF file, only Acrobat can.
