Question

Is there a way to prevent the descenders on lower case letters being cut off in a fillable text field?

I'm doing a design project that requires the final PDF to have editable text fields, and due to branding issues I need to use Quicksand bold font. However, the tails of all the lower case p's, g's, y's etc are being clipped off at the bottom of the text fields. It seems like the font sits too low for Acrobat's text boxes. This doesn't happen with the font in any other Adobe product, however, so I'm confused as to why it's doing it in Acrobat. I'm using Acrobat Pro DC. Any help would be much appreciated as it's driving me crazy!

Make the field taller and/or set the font size to Auto.

Hi, thanks! I had the text set to auto and the text box was really pretty tall, but not tall enough it seems. Making it even taller worked - thanks!
