Question

Is there a way to save the guides I have set for a document?

MS Publisher is being phased out, so I am reluctantly working with the Adobe DC Pro subscription that I already have to pay for to see if it will suffice as a replacement. I am hoping that most of the many frustrations I have with Adobe are just a matter of knowing which box in the hundreds of settings I need to check or uncheck. So, here is the current stumbling block:

I was pleased to find the rulers and discover how easy it is to set the guides, but I was sorely disappointed to open my document the next day to find that I have to recreate all of my guides. The help search couldn't find results on the topic and directed me to AI Assistant. AI Assistant is useless on a document that doesn't contain text, and my document only contains images for a woodburning stencil that I am creating.

Is there a way to save my guides?

@47461199 Adobe DC Pro is the wrong application to equal MS Publisher. Instead, Adobe InDesign which is more than a page layout application is what likely comoes closer to MS Publisher. But, since you are working wity 'stencils' maybe Adobe Illustrator which is a drawing program might be better suited for you
