Is there a way to set Combo Box list height?

I've created dozens of forms in AcroForms with combo boxes and have always had an issue with the list height on dropdown. Sometimes it's perfect in Acrobat/Reader, but other times it seems to either be way too short either vertically or horizontally.

Sometimes the height of the list wants to scroll when there's more than enough room to display more choices.

I've also had the issue where the box width is too short and the font is too big and it cuts off text. Other times the box gets a really small font and could be bigger.

Is there a way, script or otherwise, to manually set the dropdown list properties in AcroForms?
