Is there an option to add instructional text to a PDF fillable form?

Hello,

I've created a fillable form, however, the same sections come back filled-in incorrectly or not at all. I would like to add instructions to the form in these sections in order to clarify what's needed for these sections. I don't want to use "comments" to do this because then the instructions get mixed in with actual comments, and I don't know how to run a java script. So: Is there an existing option to add instructions to a fillable form (but not have them show up when the form is printed)?
