Question

Is there any option to use Adobe Acrobat PRO without paying $14.99/mo.?

Dear Community,

I am not a design professional. I don't earn money using Acrobat PRO. Neither I use it for commercial purposes. Time to time I need an option to edit a PDF file. For example when I buy a shipping label from the Deutsche Post it supplies the PDF in europrean A4 format instead of a standard A6 shipping label. So I need to surf Internet to find an online PDF editor to crop the page. Those cites are full of ads, nasty offerings and even malware, so it is always a stress to find an adequate one...

My bet would be to have Adobe Acrobat PRO installed on my PC, so I can use its editing capabilities. However I am not willing to pay $14.99 monthly. Is there any flexible option to have Acrobat PRO?

Thank you

Mark

Are you doing it in order to print the file on an A6? If so, you don't need Acrobat at all. You can use the free Adobe Reader and simply set the file to scale to fit the printed paper.

For around $25 per month you can rent it for a month then cancel without penalty. (The $15 is a yearly commitment). So to use it once or twice a year would be cheaper.

Well, this is neither an option for me.

I wonder why Adobe doesn't have a plan for such users like me. I use edit capabilities of Acrobat PRO 2-3 times a month.

I mean it.

So I don't need 100Gb of Creative Cloud and a bunch of those apps/addons that professional designers use.

I'd be happy with, say 19.99 €/year plan (which is about $23) just to use Acrobat PRO editing features.

Instead I am forced to constantly look for workarounds which may be harmful for my PC...
