Issue printing from Mac

I am having an issue printing a 3 page document from a Mac to our Canon printer.  In the print dialogue box I am choosing 1 sided, collated, stapled, black & white, multiple copies.  When it prints I receive all the pages, front and back with no separation between documents, stapled together as one big document.  This happens with preset buttons or default buttons.  Any suggestions?
