Issue with ADOBE ACROBAT DC

I am addressing an issue with ADOBE ACROBAT DC. The application keeps failing to install an update, the application comes back stating that to review the documentation at adobe.com/go/acrobat_installation_rollback. I have found nothing there that is helpful in regards to this issue.

I then attempted a repair of the application. This returned an error code of 28000. I located a discussion form in one posting it was suggested to use the ADOBE license repair tool. I ran this with nothing being resolved.

It was also suggested in the same support forum to hack the registry and remove the ADOBE sub keys in the registry. This also made no difference.

Any suggestions to help with this issue would be appreciated.

The PC in question is running WIN 7 professional 32 bit with SP1.

try updating your os.

if that fails, update by downloading the files directly and then applying them:  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

KGLAD,

I did verify that the OS is completely up to date. I the down loaded the update package from the downloads portion of the ADOBE website. This also failed and it returned and error stating that there was errors with the licensing.

Very Best Regards
