Issue with Date Field on PDF Forms

I am creating a PDF form and when I select the option for DATE Field and use the format mm/dd/yyyy it will not let me enter any dates before the year 2000. How can this be fixed or is there some other format that needs to be used?

Thanks for reporting the issue and apologies for any inconvenience caused. The issue is not reproducible on our side. Hence for further investigation of the issue , can you please share the following information :

System OS and its version
Acrobat Version
What message is shown on entering the date before year 2000 manually/by typing?

This the Date format in the format tab, correct? Do you have any other validation or calculation scripts in this field or other fields that refer to this field?

Just tried it and it's working fine, both entering a value manually and via the calendar widget.

Where are you testing the file, and what exactly happens when you enter a date before 2000?
