Issues in activating subscription for Adobe Pro DC.

I just purchased a  1 year subscription for Adobe Pro DC this week and the subscription is showing up on my account. I initially downloaded the free trial version just to try it out but when I tried to activate it after procuring my subscription it kept prompting me to put in my serial number. So I uninstalled the trial version and went to my adobe account and downloaded the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC again from the link it gave me on my account page. After downloading and installing, it was still on the trial version and when I went to activate it it asked me to put in the serial number.

Now, when I purchased the subscription I got Emails saying “Thanks for your purchase……and so on” and it also gave me my order details as in Order Number and Order Date but there was nothing on the emails concerning product serial number.

Now I have so far uninstalled & reinstalled, logged in & logged out multiple times and nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

install the cc desktop app from here, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

sign in to your cc desktop app with your adobe id.

open acrobat.

if it still shows a trial:

check your account again to re-verify your subscription is what you expect and to re-verify your adobe id (used in the next step), https://www.adobe.com/account.html

if your account shows

a. your subscription is active,

1.  sign out and then back in to your cc desktop application using the same adobe id above to verify your subscription:  http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/sign-in-out-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

2.  if that fails, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-reverts-to-trial.html

if your account shows

b. you have no subscription and you're paying for one

1. using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html
