Issues opening Hyperlinked PDF documents from other PDF

Question

Hi Everyone.

I'm not sure what changed recently but every time we click on a hyperlinked document pointing to another PDF doc on the same server we get a warning: The document is trying to access *path and filename* If you trust this document choose Allow. When I choose Trust it doesn't do anything. This is happening to all users and any hyperlinked PDF document. Thank you for your time.

Would you mind sharing the Adobe Acrobat version you are using? To check the version, go to Help > about Acrobat and ensure you have the recent version https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html installed. To check the update,

Go to Acrobat> Help > Check for updates.
