Hello, I'm having issues with printed pdf files. When I print the file name sometimes has .pdf at the end of the file name and some don't. So when I'm trying to put them together into one file the ones without .pdf are not showing up even though they are in the folder

Hi there,

Hope you're doing well, and thank you for reaching out to us.

Could you please share the steps you are following to create and combine the PDF files? A short video recording of your process would be really helpful to better understand the issue.

In the meantime, please try combining the files using Adobe Acrobat, as it should be able to detect and recognize the files even if they don’t have the .pdf extension.

Here are a few more things you can try:

  1. Rename the files: If some files do not show .pdf at the end of their name, try adding .pdf manually and check if that helps.
  2. Recreate the PDF files: Go back to the original source files and generate new PDFs, ensuring the correct file extension is added. Then, try combining them again.

Please give these steps a try and let us know how it goes.

Good morning, Amal,

Thank you very much for your prompt response. We have attempted the steps you suggested, but unfortunately, the user is not satisfied with the proposed solution. This is primarily because he manages thousands of PDFs, and renaming each one individually would be extremely time-consuming and inefficient for him. I will try to capture a video demonstrating his current process and share it here once I have it ready. Thank you once again for your time and assistance.
