Issues with Background

We have a specific claim form that we use Adobe to fill out. A scanned image of the form is set as the background image - because we don't need the whole form itself printed, only the text we are adding. In version 2022.002.20212 this is perfectly set up, but took a while to perfect the scale and sizing of the background image as it was not taking up the full page. In the newer version, we CANNOT get the size right. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a way to set a full page, to scale background image? Or a way to only have added text print on a document without using the background options? It's an 8.5x11 claim form. I feel like it shouldn't be this hard.

We have also tried using the template created in version 2022.002.20212 with the new version, but the prints significantly out of alignment.

Hi @Stephanie30926232filx

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the delay in response.

When you say you do not have this option with the newer version, is it a more recent version, or now Acrobat Modern Viewer (new UI) you are working with?

Acrobat and Reader official update 23.003.20244 is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates>reboot Acrobat.

More information about this release is here: Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

If its a new UI,

  • Click on the hamburger icon in the upper left corner.
  • Click on Disable New Acrobat

Let us know if its works again after switching back to the old UI.

Thanks,

Akanchha
