hi the user got some of the issue resolved , but we've run into a issue .

When we choose certificates and do a new digital id we put the user information in and then create new digital id. When that pops up to digitally sign a document he wants to put his .jpg file next to the information in the appearance box.

You can add a new appearance to the Digital ID profile, and set it to display an image. Click the Appearance drop-down in the Sign Document dialog, and then select New Appearance. Give it a name and under "Show" select "Imported graphic" and then select the image you want to use, and the other settings. Click OK and you're all done!

Hi Michaele,

As per the issue description mentioned above, user is facing issue with digital signatures, is that correct?

Could you let us know the issue user is facing when trying to sign pdf using digital signature?

Also, let us know dot version of Acrobat and the operating system installed on the machine? You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the version in Acrobat: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

You may also visit the following help document for more info on digital signatures:

Let us know if you need any help.

Hi Michaele,

Thanks for the info. Have you tried creating a new digital ID (with user's information) using the steps given here? Digital IDs in Acrobat

Once the ID is created, you can sign a pdf using that ID by launching Acrobat > click Tools > type certificates and click digitally sign.
