"I do not want to go Cloud"

Acrobat 2020 desktop software is available as a one-time purchase. It does not include quarterly Acrobat feature enhancements or access to premium Adobe Document Cloud services like Acrobat Sign via your web browser and mobile devices.

And support for Acrobat 9 ended in june 2013, 10 years ago.

Support for Acrobat XI ended in 2017. We know there are unfixed security issues. If you are concerned about security, you should not be running EOL software, for sure.

How can a licence be the source of a vulnerability?
What makes you think that?

What is the issue? Acrobat doesn't use Java.

You are right, JAVA fall in by mistake. I do not want to go Cloud. What should I do since Qualys report gave the following:

A critical vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 and earlier versions. This vulnerability would cause the application to crash and could potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.

There are reports that this issue is being exploited.

AFFECTED SOFTWARE VERSIONS

Adobe Reader 9.0 and earlier versions
Adobe Acrobat Standard, Pro, and Pro Extended 9.0 and earlier versions

What you should do is stop using Acrobat XI. You should get up to date with all your software. Note: Acrobat DC subscription does not run on the cloud.
