Question

Javascript and Acrobat DC Standard

I've got the 64-bit version of Acrobat DC Standard (not Pro) and I've been trying to figure out how to make a fillable stamp for senior engineers to use.  I have been watching a few video tutorials, and I keep seeing functions that don't seem to be available in my version.  Under Javascript in Custom Tools, it says "This feature is not included in your current Acrobat license."  Does this mean Pro is required?

Hi @Ann5C6D

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Enhancing PDF forms by adding interactivity with JavaScript is supported in Adobe Acrobat Pro, for a detailed comparison of features between Acrobat Pro and Acrobat Std, please go through the help page Adobe Acrobat Pro pricing & options | Adobe Acrobat

Hope this information will help.

Thank you, Amal.  Unfortunately there are a lot of explainations on the web about how to do this, and most of them are not clear on needing Pro to do this.

Just to follow up, since this would be for a team of people -- would everyone need Pro in order to use the stamp, or just the person who initially creates it?  I think everyone here has Standard except maybe one or two.
