Javascript to center align text in a dropdown field?

Actually you can left or right align text in a dropdown, but it cannot be centered.

How ridiculous is it that Adobe still cannot allow us to do this... 5 years later! Why do we always have to 'hack the system' for a simple editing option. 

Not possible. You can add spaces before your items, but that's about it.
