Javascript to Open PDF Attachments Separately from the Main PDF

Hello,

I am trying to make a Javascript to open PDF attachments in my PDF file. I am using Acrobat XI. The "Create a Link" command does not seem to work for me, so let me explain my situation:

I have a PDF with multiple pages describing different components. I made PDF drawings from SolidWorks of these components that are already attached in the PDF. I need a script to open the attachments as a separate PDF for each component as a work around for potential internet connection issues. I am not sure what call fucntion I should use as I have tried different functions so far with the "Add or Edit Link" > Javascript doing nothing when I click the invisible box. I am using the invisible box as I have information that I cannot hide. Please help me. It would be greatly appreciated.
