Question

Just added a new scanner, how do I get Acrobat to recognize the new machine? Thank you.

I have been using an older HP DeskJet as scanner, but now have a new LaserJet (Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw), but Acrobat does not "connect."  The printer/scanner is connected to my computer by both wire and wireless.  What step did I miss?  Many thanks!!

Did you install a TWAIN scanner driver supplied by the manufacturer.

- Windows/Mac does NOT automatically load the software a scanner needs.

- Acrobat doesn't include it

- A working printer doesn't mean you have the scanner software.
