Just installed Acrobat Pro DC but can't keep the program open. Times out after about 10 seconds and disappears. Can't work in my PDF documents at all. How do I fix?

Just installed Acrobat Pro DC but can't keep the program open.  Times out after about 10 seconds and disappears.  Can't work in my PDF documents at all.  How do I fix?

Tried it both ways. First moved the Preferences folder without renaming, then moved it & renamed it. Didn’t work either way.

I'm encountering the same issue. I tried to contact adobe support but ended up with this forum. How do I contact the adobe help desk?

using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html

Thanks, but this did not resolve the problem, and there was no message to replace the new Preferences folder.

did you delete or rename or move the preferences folder?

if not, do so.

if that fails, suspend your av and right click the acrobat exe>click 'run as administrator'.

if that fails, using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html
