Keyboard shortcut to highlight selected text in Acrobat Pro Mac

There is a keyboard shortcut for selecting the highlight tool. Is there one for actually highlighting selected text? If I could command this through the menus I could create my own shortcut for that. But I see no way to do that either. Tx

@JIPNET I am using a MacBook Pro fo Acrobat, and with the 'Selection Tool,' I can select the text with ease. I am using the old classic interface, which I disabled the new Acrobat — I can select my highlighter tool quite easily

If I select the text, the highlighter pops open as well:

Have you tried the right-click? That seems faster for me though?

Hi JIPNET,

Thank you for reaching out.

You may refer to the following help document to check the keyboard shortcuts available for the Acrobat: https://adobe.ly/4s9222d.

Currently, there is no shortcut available for the workflow mentioned.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
