Question

Keystroke shortcut of menu item for viewing documents in tabs

Is there a menu item, or preferably a keystroke shortcut to put open PDFs back into tabs instead of separate windows?  I keep accidentally going the other way when I'm working fast (I don't know how I'm doing this) and I have to close and reopen all the files to put them back into tab view.

Hi @formsdoctor,

Thanks for reaching out.

To switch between tabs in Adobe Acrobat Pro, you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
  • Ctrl+Tab: Switches to the next tab
  • Ctrl+Shift+Tab: Switches to the previous tab

To know more about available keyboard shortcuts, please read this: https://adobe.ly/3DffWed;

Thank you.  I know about those.  What I want to do is put all open PDFs that are not in tab format, back so they are viewed in tabs.
