Lagging - Need to add text (copy & place) to a 50+ pages PDF

Hello everyone!

I need to add text on the same exact position on every page of documents that are around 50+ pages and 10/20mo.

I don't want to edit anything, just add new text on top of the actual PDF.

What I like about Acrobat is that you can "copy and place" like in Indesign.

My issue is that Acrobat is lagging A LOT when I click on Modify the PDF.

It's nearly unusable, even the scroll is lagging and it crashed too.

I think it's because the PDF mainly contains pictures and Acrobat is loading them or something.

Is there a way to simply add text without editing or lagging ?

Or maybe Acrobat isn't the best tool for this ?

Unfortunately InDesign doesn't open PDF documents and I don't have access to the original InDesign file.

Photoshop is a mess because I would need to open each page, add text, export and then merge 50 pages in one.

I tried "PDF Expert" software and it didn't lag at all when I modify the PDF, but there's no "option to copy and place" so it's not interesting for me.

I really don't know what to do and I have a bunch of huge pdf to edit.

Thank you in advance for your help!

The most logic and simple way I can think of is to use InDesign, but InDesign don't open PDF files...

Will problably have to figure a way to do so, because Acrobat is really not doing the job.

You can use the text field to add text to it, and then you can select 'Duplicate across pages'.

I changed some settings now Acrobat is working better, I have less lag even if it's not that good...

I have no idea how to select "Duplicate across pages".

I checked online and people talk about links, buttons or forms ?

When I double click on the text I added, there's no such option.

It's hard to believe how messy and unnatural Acrobat is...

I have been using PS/AI/ID since 10+ years and never struggled that much for such a little thing.
