Lagging when reading PDF documents

We experience a lot lagging when reading through a larger PDF document.

As we recall this never happened before, anything we can do to solve this issue?

The bigger your documents, the more resources they require to render on screen.

OPTION 1: Get faster CPUs and more memory (RAM and VRAM) for your devices.

OPTION 2: optimize & compress PDFs to reduce their file size.

Also, what are the specs on your computers? OS? RAM? CPU? Video card?

Are you opening a file that is local to you, as in on your machine's hard drive, or is it on a network drive, or is it in cloud storage?
