Large PDF causes Acrobat X to lockup

I have a PDF created by AutoDesk AutoCAD which is about 10 megs. When I try to open the file, Acrobat hangs using 25% CPU and increasing amount of RAM. I have left it running for 30 mins and still won't display the file. Any ideas?

Hi Donalds,

Sorry for the delay in response.

You may check this discussion: Acrobat DC and Nvidia Optimus and see the preference to tweak with for GPU acceleration.

Since the file is huge in size and most likely I think it may have complex graphics to render.

GPU acceleration may not be able to help much but I think it should boost a little.
