Large PDF takes lot of time to open and search

Hello,

 

I have a pdf file with a lot of pages (more than 40.000). When I try to open it, it takes a lot of time and also is not possible to have a result using the function search.

 

Please let me know how is possible to improve pdf "performance".

Is it not reccomended to create pdf too big? If yes, what is the limit?

Try once repairing the installation. Launch the application, and go to Help > Repair Installation (Windows only).

Ensure that the application is updated to the latest version. Go to Help > Check for updates.

 

Please let us know if the issue occurs with a particular PDF.

If yes, please share a sample PDF that we can check.

Share the Acrobat and OS version numbers you are using on the machine.
