Large word file to PDF errors

I am trying to convert a large word doc (65+ pages with text and pics) to PDF and keep getting error message "An unexpected error ocured. PDFMaker was unable to produce the Adobe PDF. What am I missing. I have tried different settings, reducing the size, etc. and cannot get conversion completed.

Does this happen for all pages or just some pages?

I would break the document into smaller files and see if I can convert those smaller files.
