Layout created in Word and showing correctly when converted to PDF does not print out correctly

I created a layout of an altar using MS Word using the images and text boxes in the layout tab and it appears like this is Word. When I converted the document to pdf, they lookedd exactly the same as in Word (below).

 

 

But when I printed the pdf, I got this:

When I look at PDF document in my computer, it shows correctly with nothing missing. I made over 70 layouts in this document and three were like this. I fixed the other two by erasing the layouts and doing them again, but this last one (Fig. 62) won't resolve. I've tried erasing the layout and creating it again, or copying the layout of another figure that didn't have any problem but when I print it I get the incorrect images. Fig. 62 appears fine when I look at the document on my laptop in Word and PDF. It prints out fine in Word too. The problem appears only when I print out the document in pdf. Can anyone please help? Thank you.

    Hi @Richard35074201wyl0 ,

     

    Printing a document to PDF involves a slightly different export method than using Save As, Export to PDF, or using the Adobe Acrobat PDF Maker COM Add-in that is integrated  with Microsoft Office.

     

    My question to you:

    When you print to PDF , are you using the Acrobat "Print to PDF" printer?

     

    I will assume that you have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC installed and a paid subscription.

     

    If not, please get familiarized with this guidance first:

     

     

    Once you have this printer and Acrobat installes, it is worth noting some technical highlights.

     

    Print to PDF involves a process of postscripting the desired file. In which case, Adobe Acrobat employs another program for this purpose (known as the Acrobat Distiller).

     

    Sometimes, you need to manually tweak a few settings here and there in Acrobat Distiller.

     

    And you do that until the postscripted file renders the desired look and appearance as the original document.

    I have Adobe Acrobat pro on a monthly subscription and use a MacBook laptop. The document was created in Word, and then saved as a PDF document. The mysterious thing is, it is only one page with these two figures that do not print out correctly. All the other figures I created printed out correctly in PDF. I also tried recreating just this page with the same figures in another Word document, saved it in PDF, then printed it out. Surprisingly, it printed out correctly. But when I replaced the problem page in the original file with this new page, saved the entire document in PDF and printed out just this one page, it came out with the same missing details as shown above. This is not making sense anymore. If there was a change somewhere due to postscripting, it should have affected all the figures in the document, not just the figures in one page of the entire document. I'm at a loss.

    I can take a look at it and see if I can trace the issue on my end.

     

    I am on Windows 11, and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
