Leeres Bedienfeld bei "speichern unter" in Windows 7

Hi everyone. I use the German version of Acrobat Pro DC, version 2021.007.20099 on a PC with Windows 7. I do not know how all tabs or commands are titled in English, but I think I better try in English, as more people might understand.

I am using the program presently for changing contents of pdf's (adding or deleting pages, editing content). This is working fine, but when it comes to saving the new pdf, recently I only get an empty control panel. I tried to take the hooks off on open or save online storage under preferences, but this didn't help. I can only work around by using the "save as pdf with reduced size", give the pdf a new name and then delete the old one and change the name of the new one to the old.

The whole procedure is pretty annoying, as I have to do that for approx. 1000 pdfs. I do hope someone will be able to help me to get the program back to work with "save as" as usual.

Thanks in advance, regards

Hi there,

I'm taking a stab at this as I'm a Mac user but the thing that stood out to me when you gave your equipment and software background (THANK YOU FOR THAT, SO MANY DO NOT PROVIDE THAT WITH THEIR ORIGINAL QUESTION), was that you were using Windows 7. I checked and Windows 7 is still being supported with Acrobat but it also states the minimum requirement for Windows as:

Windows 11 (64 bit), Windows 10 (32 bit and 64 bit) version 1809 or later, Windows 8, 8.1 (32 bit and 64 bit), Windows 7 SP1 (32 bit and 64 bit), or Windows Server - 2008 R2 (64 bit), 2012 (64 bit), 2012 R2 (64 bit), 2016 (64 bit), or 2019 (64 bit)

This is from: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/system-requirements.html

Beyond that I could only guess, I'm sorry I cannot be of more support.
