Length of Family Tree

Greetings,

          My plan is to purchase a 24 inch wide format printer. I am concerned about some print length limitations. The chart could exceed 24" x 180". Software is Family Historian. The following is info on their built in client Family Historian PDF.

For Family Historian PDF:

• On the Page tab select Custom and set Width and Height to maximum values (128″ or 3276 mm)

As you can see their print length limit is 128"

        Their suggestion for longer printouts is to install other clients shown next.

For Cute PDF (Utility ~ CutePDF Writer) or PDF 995 (Utility ~ PDF995):

• Click the Paper/Quality tab, Advanced button, and set Paper Size to PostScript Custom.
• In the new window set Width and Height to maximum values (200″ or 5080mm).

       Looks like I might be able to get to 200 inches but not sure. So I would like to check out the possibilities available with Acrobat that might help with the length issue. Also came across a process called tiling. Not sure if that would be of help with the length issue.

       I am somewhat of a novice with this so please adjust your response accordingly...lol
