Lighten PDF Scans

Hi Steve,

When you say "Lighten," I'm assuming that they were scanned dark and the white paper appears a bit gray?

If so, here's my solution (and it will require rescanning for best results but further down there's one solution if you absolutely cannot do that. BUT, it may have unintended consequenses.
