Question

Line spacing in pdf Mac Acrobat DC

Yep, there have been many threads on line spacing, but none that work for me.

I'm using the latest Acrobat Pro DC and editing text in a pdf. I added an ampersand to a sentence. It change to right justified. Ok, easy to fix.

But the line also moved down.

Properties Bar doesn't show any options when either the text or the text box are selected.

Help? Thank you!

If you're using the Poverties Bar, it sounds like you're adding the text using a comment. Instead, use the Edit tool. The line spacing is a setting, See the highlighted filed in the screenshot below.

Thanks for responding. I tried the properties bar out of desperation.

I'd already tried the line spacing in the type edit window, but it didn't change the new spacing. I'm thinking the ampersand is being read as code in some way. ARG

Try selecting the entire line of text, not just the ampersand.
