Line that I can't type on in a .pdf document

Hello

I just installed Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and I'm using it for the first time ever.  I have a .pdf document which is a form that I need to fill out onto the document and save it.  That's why I bought the pro version.  So I'm typing in the values on this document and I come to a line on the form that it won't let me type over.  It looks just like the line above it which I can type over.  Can you advise?  I can post this document here if that will help (and it's allowed.)

Here is the link.  If you notice, under Address on page 1 you can't type on the bottom 2 lines.  Also I can't type on page 2 at all: Shared Files - Acrobat.com

Works fine for me, using the Add Text tool.

A palaver is a fuss and a nuisance, an effort, time consuming.

Adding form fields is a bit of a palaver. But once it's done it's very easy to fill in over and over. It's not worth the trouble for a form to be filled just once.

What's a palaver?  Okay, so it's for developing new forms, then, which I'm not doing now.

Thank you Test Screen Name, Bernd Alheit, and try67.

At the time you start typing, what tool has been selected? I can't just start typing in Acrobat.

On the screen it looks kind of like the capital I (the Roman version - with a bar across the top and the bottom.)

Ok, so you need to tell us exactly how you go about "typing over" it. What tool or sequence of tools do you use. The reason for asking is that there are many, many ways.

No, you can't upload PDFs. You have to share a link to a public file.

I simply click where I want to type and then start typing.  This is usually on an underscore.  When I type the underscore gets pushed over to the right along with everything else,  Then I have press the delete key to move everything leftward back to where it was.

Don't understand why you bought Pro: Reader can fill a fillable form, and save it. Do you mean it isn't fillable so you have to add text over the form?

No, it's not filllable. I can type over most of it.  But not all of it.  That's the problem.

Use Tools > Send & Track and post the link.

Link?  Can I just upload the document?
