Line tool issue

Question

When using the line tool to draw a line in Acrobat i often have to do it three times before it actually stays.  I select line tool, will highlight the what i need and as soon as i make the second click to complete the line it disappears. Usually by the third attempt it will stick.  Very time consuming and frustrating.  Any help is appreciated.

Sorry for the delay in acknowledgment.

Acrobat and Reader official update 23.003.20215 is now available. This update will be automatically pushed to all existing installations of Acrobat and Reader. If you want, you may also manually trigger the update early by opening the application and going to Help > Check for Updates>reboot Acrobat.

If it still doesn't work as expected after installing the patch, then. Open Acrobat>help>repair installation.

Or better to do a clean install by uninstalling and reinstalling the app using cleaner tool.
