LINK ERROR - Red box pop up

I have been trying for a few days to get a link to share a file.  Only 22 pages and under 8MB.  I click on GET A LINK and then a red box pops up that says ""We weren't able to create the link.  Please try again later." After several days, I'm still unable to get a link. I tried on firefox and then went over to chrome.  Adobe Acrobat Pro Version: 22.3.20322.0 - program says I'm up to date and I also did a repair install just in case.  Didn't help and I see others have this same problem. 

Can you assist?  Thank you.

    ALSO - I just went down a rabbit hole and found a "hidden" section of documents and did another test trying to get a link for a file.  It created a "ilink-" followed by lots of numbers and letters that had my doc in it but said it's not for sharing.  Unable to get back to the page of these docs and folders without following the rabbit hole again. This "hidden" sections had docs I didn't know were there.

    p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
