Linking button in PDF to .exe or .bat file

Hi, I created a "Radio Button" under the Rich Media tool and linked it to open an .exe or .bat file. It does not work and I always get a security warning that the System administrator (and I believe that's a setting in Adobe Acrobat) does not allow to open this type of file. Any thoughts how to get around this?

It might be possible by white-listing these file types through a registry edit, but I would highly recommend you don't do that, as it's a huge security risk.
