Links in pdf don’t work when forwarded in a text.

I have created multiple PDFs with interactive links to YouTube. When I send the link to the pdf in a text it works great, but when the link gets forwarded it looses all functionality. I have included the link below if someone could can help.

Hey there,

As expert has mentioned, embedded link in the pdf file, are working for me too. Which means, there's something went wrong when you have shared the pdf file with others. How exactly you shared it, would you mind sharing the exact workflow?

Thanks,

Akanchha

While viewing it on your mobile device take the file and message it to someone. That's when the links don't work.

The way you send it is irrelevant (unless the service used to send the file corrupts it). What matters is how the file is viewed on the other end.

How is the file being viewed when the links don't work? The fault is most likely with that app. The file itself is fine.

Once you are viewing the file from the website click the send button on the bottom of your mobile device and message it to yourself. The links don't work after that. I have only tried this on iOS devices.

The links in the PDF file are working.

If I copy and paste the link into a message it works fine, but if I forward then the links don't work. You can visibly see they are there but when selected they don't activate.
