Question

Links not passing through to web browser correctly

We use HP content manager in our organisation to store important documents for the business.

We then use another program called Kapish easylink that handles the translation from weblink to content manger document.

The issue we have is, when you open a kapish easy link from a link in a pdf a blank browser window opens. This occurs when using Acrobat DC.

If i open the same link using Acrobat reader DC then the desired action happens.

The link is opened in the web browser that then opens the document.

There must be some part of the link being passed through to the web browser that is being changed in Acrobat DC but not in Acrobat Reader DC.

An example of a Kapish easylink: trim://29%2g219073/?db=P1&view

If i right click the link and choose to copy it, i can then post that in a browser or run box and the required document will open.

What i need is the behaviour of Acrobat DC to be the same as Acrobat Reader DC.
