Hi, I am running Acrobat Pro (continuous release - version 2023.008.20470) on Mac OSX 15.7.5. Online search results point to a Preflight profile called 'list of fonts' located within PDF Analysis section in the Preflight pane, however I cannot see or find this profile, even with searching in the preflight window. Does anyone know if it is there, how to locate it, or if not how to create a profile that simply lists fonts in a PDF that i can export to a text file for font audit purposes.

Online searches state the ‘List of Fonts’ is a pre built profile that lists the fonts used in a predefined format

  • Font name (including subset prefixes like AAAAAA+)
  • Font type (Type 1, TrueType, OpenType, CID, etc.)
  • Whether the font is embedded / subset

I cannot find the list of font preflight does anyone know where it is or how to recreate the same preflight from the custom checks

thanks

Noel

On the Preflight dialog, you should see an Options menu in the upper right corner. When you open that, you should see “Inventory” - that will allow you to create a Font inventory listing.
