Question

List of recently opened files - empty when opened from a shared folder

On Acrobat, bookmarks don't display the document name when the file is opened from a One Drive location, whereas on Mac, the file is opened from the finder and is permanently available offline.

This is a problem as I regularly use the application with favorites to open reference documents.

@Rhydian Elzekys Go MAC! All kidding aside, I think the difference you're seeing likely comes down to how Windows and macOS, and more specifically, how Acrobat interacts with cloud storage like OneDrive versus a locally stored file. When a file is opened directly from a local drive on your Mac, it's immediately and fully available, allowing Acrobat to quickly pull all its metadata, including the full document name, for display in your favorites or bookmarks. However, when working with files stored in OneDrive on Windows, Acrobat is often dealing with a "virtual" file that's synced on demand. This means that while the file appears to be there, the application might not always have immediate, full access to all its properties (like the robust file path and name) until it's fully downloaded or opened, leading to that blank display in your bookmarks. It's a subtle but significant difference in how these systems handle file availability, and it's completely understandable why it's causing such a hiccup in your reference process.
