Local Creative Cloud App Doesn't Think I Have An Account

I have an Adobe Creative Cloud Account and have been using Adobe Creative Cloud app on my MacBook Pro for quite a while. Today when I launched the app, I was prompted to either start a free trial or purchase the app - no option to just sign in (screenshot attached).

Should I delete and reinstall?

Try the steps mentioned in the following link
https://helpx.adobe.com/hk_en/manage-account/kb/stop-creative-cloud-trial-mode-after-purchase.html

If no advice given so far works then the last resort would be to contact support.

To contact support follow the instructions given below
1. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
2. Wait a bit on the page that opens up, it should automatically open a chat popup. If that does not happen then look for a call out/chat icon at the bottom right, click over it and the chat popup should open
3. In order to talk to a human type "AGENT" in the chat box
4. If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your adblockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.

P.S. Be mindful of answering anyone who sends you a private message. See the following for more information about scammers

The info at that first link was most helpful! I was able to sign out and sign back in, and now the Acrobat DC app recognizes my current and active Creative Cloud account credentials. Thanks so much!

check your account to verify your subscription is what you expect and to verify your adobe id, https://accounts.adobe.com

if your account shows an active subscription, sign out of the cc app and then sign back in using the same id used ro confirm your subscription.

I cannot find any options in the app to sign out. As shown in the screenshot of my original question, when the app launches, it show my recent .pdf files, but then the window pops up prompting me to start my free trial or buy Acrobat DC now. The only other option is Quit Acrobat DC.

Actually I was able to sign out thanks to info at the link provided in Manan Joshi's answer below.

All set! Thank you!
