Question

Lock Bounding Boxes?

I am working with a large construction drawing in PDF format, and I have encountered an issue with bounding boxes.
In the past on other similar drawings, I was able to edit freely, adding text and symbols where and when needed, and i never encountered these boxes.
Recently I received a different drawing for a new job and when I attempt to edit/add text or some type of symbol, the bounding boxes are there and they very easily move and skew a part of the drawing.

Is there a solution to resolve this, as it is making it this task much more difficult than necessary.

Please advise, thanks

Hi Robocode,

Thank you for reaching out.

It seems that you are referring to the bounding boxes that appear when you select the Edit PDF tool in Acrobat.

Yes, you may remove the bounding boxes if you wish. In the right-hand side tool pane, scroll down and unmark the box for "Show bounding boxes."

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
